Preparing Your Primary Participant for the NBBC: A Guide for Parents

These short audio recordings are meant to walk you through many different aspects of preparing your Primary-aged participant for the NBBC.  From choosing cross references to setting appropriate goals to organizing memory passages, I hope this series is a helpful resource for you on your Bible Bee journey.

Getting Started with the Basics

Simple and systematic ways to set your child up for success in learning material for the NBBC.  You can find all four audio sessions in this post.

Selecting Themes, Greek/Hebrew Terms, and Cross References

How to approach selecting themes from the NBBC Scripture Passage, how to use those themes in choosing Greek/Hebrew terms, helpful resources you can use, and the biggest question of all..."how many???"  You can find all five audio sessions in this post.

Memorization

Simple ideas for setting goals, making a memorization schedule, and incorporating consistent review, as well as some ideas to keep parents organized.  You can find the audio sessions in this post.

Reinforce, Review, and Recall + Taking Your Child's Studying to the Next Level

  3. Thank you so much for these resources. We enjoyed using them last year and again this year. For this year, are you planning on doing KJV Explore verses for primary in addition to Navigate? Singing works so well for our kids! Thanks again!

    1. Dory, I am so glad your children have enjoyed the songs. I would love to record the Explore passages for the other versions, but at this point I don't want to make any promises. With a big family, it is challenging to find the time and I am also working on a lot of other materials. Lord willing I will be able to carve out some time, though. That certainly is my hope!

    2. I completely understand! Thank you again! Because of your music, my little 4 year old (and multiple older siblings) is able to quote Acts 1:8 now. <3

    3. That is fantastic! I am really encouraged to hear that. :) Our youngest daughters have also been learning the memory passage songs along with their older siblings. Seeing how much they learn and how excited they are to study God's Word like their older siblings do is one of my favorite parts of Bible Bee.
Blessings to you and your family!

  4. Your website has been a great help for our family. Thank you so much for putting all these together. I just want to double check with you: I think the linked documents for Acts 12-18 Greek words and cross references are the same. Thanks again!
