Hello and welcome!  We are glad you stopped by our blog.  Our purpose here is to share the resources that have been beneficial to our family as a way to encourage others to grow in the knowledge of God through His Word.

Our family first learned about the National Bible Bee in 2015 through an email from HSLDA.  We signed up our oldest two children, who were 7 and 8 years old at the time, and were quite surprised when they both qualified for Nationals that year.  That first year was a huge learning curve and it was exciting to see just how much our children could memorize and learn.  While memorizing and studying Scripture had always been a part of our family life, Bible Bee took things to a new level for us.  It has continued to be a great opportunity for growth for each of our children and for our family as a whole.

Whether you are new to Bible Bee this year or you have been doing it for a while, we hope that you will find materials here that will be useful to you and your family in your Bible Bee journey.

  1. This website is inspirational and sometimes overwhelming - as all of life can feel! But I absolutely feel while I'm visiting your site that God is in control and is glorified through your family! HE IS SO GOOD - all the time!

Preparing Your Primary Participant for the NBBC: The Basics

So, your 7-10 just qualified for the National Bible Bee Competition for the first time.  Congratulations!  But now what do you do?  This guide for parents will walk you through how to prepare your Primary participant for the competition.  From selecting cross references to organizing the memory passages, I hope that these audio recordings will be a helpful resource on your Bible Bee journey. While listening, please keep in mind that these are my personal views and thoughts about the competition.  They do not reflect what will be on the Multiple Choice Test or the Oral Preliminary Rounds.  As always, I am just a parent who enjoys making study materials that I can share and I also like talking all things Bible Bee prep.
