2021 NBBC Practice Tests (Updated 10/29/21)

Short Practice Tests

These 50-question tests have a time limit of 20 minutes.  Each test covers content, context, cross references, and Greek words for the chapter indicated.  In addition, questions from various memory passages are also asked.  While these are written for all divisions, the memory passage questions are only taken from the Primary memory passage list.


These practice tests cover study chapter content and context, Greek words, cross references, and memory passage content and context for Juniors.  The time limit for the final two tests is 16 minutes.

    1. So glad you are enjoying Bible Bee this year! That is an exciting accomplishment for your child(ren) to make it to nationals in their first year. Figuring out how to prepare is certainly an adventure! I am sure that you will learn a lot and that you will have a foundation to build on in the years to come. All About Scripture Memorization, Part 1

It could be said that the cornerstone of the Bible Bee is scripture memorization.  Participants in the Summer Study will have 2 passages each week to memorize.  These passages will vary in length depending on the age division you are in.  By the end of the 8-week session, you could have memorized as many as 14 Bible passages. Participants who are aiming to qualify for the National Bible Bee Competition will have an even more exciting challenge.  They will need to memorize approximately 600-1,000 verses!  How do children as young as 7 years old accomplish such a huge feat? The answer is simple. Time, effort, and consistency make memorizing any amount of scripture possible.
