Background Study Songs & Videos




Our children learn well with songs, so we put together a couple of study songs to review background information from the 2020 Trust Primary Discovery Journal.  While these were made with Primary participants in mind, our Junior-aged children have enjoyed these as well.

*A note about Shechem as the capital of the Northern Kingdom.  In 1 Kings 12, Jeroboam sets up the Northern Kingdom in the ancient city of Shechem.  This remained the capital until Omri took power and moved the capital to the city of Samaria in 1 Kings 16.
